Welcome to Central Congregational Church!
The mission of Central Congregational Church is to live our faith in Jesus through worship, education, and service.
We are an energized and engaged congregation providing diverse worship opportunities, vibrant multi-generational education, and varied community service that has a positive impact on the world.
Our Commitment as an Open and Affirming Church
We, the congregation of Central Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, declare ourselves to be an Open and Affirming congregation. With the grace of God, we commit ourselves to being a congregation that includes all persons, embracing diversity and not restricting participation because of gender, marital status, sexual orientation, age, mental and physical ability, as well as racial, ethnic and socio-economic background.
We welcome all persons, whether members or non-members, to share in the full life and ministry of this church including fellowship, worship, sacraments and ceremonies and celebrations; in the shared responsibilities of stewardship and living in a covenantal relationship; in the shared blessings of the right to marry or celebrate a commitment to a person of one's choosing, in the right to celebrate a loved one's life in a memorial service; and to receive pastoral care.
- Central Congregational Church is an open and affirming congregation.

Free Choral Concert
Tuesday June 30th at 7:00 pmThe Logansport Children's Choir
Some of us will remember that the Logansport Children's Choir visited with us in 2007 and gave a charming concert in our church.
They are traveling through New England again this summer and will be performing in the sanctuary on Tuesday, June 30th.
Come and enjoy an evening of wonderful choral music.
Thursday June 25th
All Central women are invited to join the fun. Once a month, usually on a Thursday, we meet for dinner at a local restaurant.
We eat, talk, and get to know one another. Each gathering brings new faces - that's why it's been a great time!
This month's Dinner Out! is a pot luck at Laura Buckley's home.
Text, call, or email Laura to let her know if you are planning to attend.
Christian Ed needs Sunday School Teachers
We have a supportive Christian Ed committee and a super group of children who make it all worthwhile. It can be some of the most transformative worship you’ll ever experience.
We also have an excellent curriculum which simplifies planning and teaching each lesson. If you and two other friends form a team you can arrange your schedule so one of you is ‘off’ every third Sunday.
You probably have questions. We have a lot of current and former teachers who are willing to talk with you.
